Comparisons from new website, Compare Life Insurance:-

Policyholders pay 10 per cent of the costs while Exeter pays the remaining 90 per cent up to an annual limit that is chosen at the outset. The annual limit can be £2,500, £5,000, £10,000 or £20,000. Policyholders will have to meet the costs of treatment above the annual limit and the cost of any treatment not covered by the policy.

Children aged three months to five years can be added to the policy free. There will be an extra cost to add children between the ages of five and 21, or 25 if in full-time education.

Aviva Group Critical Illness Cover

Type; Group Critical Illness Cover

Min- max ages: 18 to 69, six months to 17 years for children

Contact: www.aviva.co.uk/healthcarezone

Clients who want to set up group critical illness cover have plenty of providers to choose from, such as Bupa, Canada Life and Unum.

Bupa recently enhanced its product by offering access to medical information, advice and guidance through its best doctors service which is its core product. It covers two fewer standard conditions and eight fewer extra conditions than Aviva, so could have more appeal to employers on a budget. It does not have an option to cover spouses and civil partners but this option is available within a flexible benefits scheme.

Hope you found this attempt of ours to compare life insurance plans helpful.
